Rehearse before you go live
Run the whole broadcast privately and catch problems before anyone is watching.
A rehearsal is a real broadcast with no audience. Your video comes in exactly as it will when you’re live, and every platform you’re streaming to is checked — so problems like an expired connection show up now, not in front of viewers.
- In Creator studio, set up your broadcast and choose Rehearse first.
- Start streaming from your app as usual.
- Watch the preview. Check your sound, your picture and anything on screen you don’t want viewers to see.
- Read the check results for each platform and fix anything it flags.
- When it looks right, choose Go live now. There’s no need to restart your app — the same stream goes public.
Your other platforms stay off during a rehearsal and only start when you choose Go live now.
