Keeping your account safe
Your password, where you’re signed in, and what to do if your stream key leaks.
- Use a password you don’t use anywhere else. A password manager makes this easy. Change it in Settings — every other device is signed out when you do.
- Turn on two-step verification. In Settings → Security, add an authenticator app and keep the recovery codes somewhere safe. Signing in then needs a code as well as your password.
- Check where you’re signed in. Settings lists every browser and device with access. End anything you don’t recognise.
- Never show your stream key on stream. It stays hidden in Settings → Channel until you choose Show. If it leaks, replace it there — the old key stops working at once, and you paste the new one into your app.
- Watch out for fake messages. Onzsa will never ask for your password or stream key by email, chat or DM. “Sponsorship offers” that ask you to download something are a common way streamers get hacked.
- Connected platforms can be disconnected in Creator studio at any time.
If you think someone got in
- Reset your password — this signs everyone else out.
- Replace your stream key in Creator studio.
- Contact support and choose “My account or signing in”. If you can’t sign in, you can still write to us from the contact page, or email [email protected].
