• Pick a different microphone in the list — laptops often have two or three.
• Check for a mute switch on the headset or a mute button on the keyboard.
• Close other apps that might be holding the microphone (video calls, recording software).
• If your browser blocked access, click the camera or lock icon in the address bar and choose Allow.
