Stream with XSplit Broadcaster
Connect XSplit Broadcaster in a couple of minutes: two values to paste and a few settings to check.
XSplit Broadcaster sends your video to Onzsa. It needs two things from us: where to send it, and a private key that proves it’s you. Your Onzsa server and stream key are in Settings → Channel under “Stream key”, and in Creator studio once you have set up a broadcast.
Connect XSplit Broadcaster
- Open the "Broadcast" menu and choose "Set up a new output", then "Custom RTMP" — XSplit’s name for a server it does not list.
- Paste your Onzsa server into "RTMP URL".
- Paste your stream key into "Stream Name", then click "OK".
In XSplit Broadcaster, the server goes in “RTMP URL” and the key in “Stream Name”. Treat the key like a password: anyone who has it can stream to your channel. If it ever leaks, replace it in Settings → Channel — the old one stops working straight away.
Pick settings for your internet
Your upload speed decides how sharp your stream can be. The connection check in Creator studio measures it and fills these steps in for you. The steps below use 1080p at 60 fps; use the table to pick the row that fits.
- In the output’s settings, set the video bitrate to 6000 kbps and the audio bitrate to 160 kbps.
- Set the resolution to 1920x1080 and the frame rate to 60.
- If a "Keyframe interval" setting is shown, set it to 2 seconds.
